Online Classroom & Video Call Policy

1. Scope and current classroom

This policy covers RALMIX online Lessons and use of camera, microphone and available screen-sharing functions. It supplements the Terms of Use and does not activate recording, transcription or any future feature.

The published classroom uses LiveKit Cloud for live video transport. The current classroom is video-only and does not provide routine lesson recording, transcription, hidden staff listening or classroom chat. Account messaging and support outside the classroom are separate functions. A reference to WebRTC describes communication technology, not a guarantee that media is purely peer-to-peer or never passes through provider infrastructure.

2. Authorised access and participants

Use the access provided for your assigned Lesson and Account. Do not forward access tokens, use another person's identity or admit an unapproved replacement Tutor or spectator. A link or room identifier alone is not permission to join. The available access window and joining controls govern technical admission; this policy does not promise that a classroom is open indefinitely.

An authorised adult can support a child in an appropriate arrangement consistent with the Parent / Guardian Agreement. Do not assume a separate guardian device or third-participant role exists. Participants should disclose a relevant bystander rather than allowing someone to observe privately without the necessary permission.

3. Devices and preparation

Use a compatible browser, suitable audio equipment and a reasonable connection. Check sound, camera permissions and time zone before the Lesson. Close confidential applications and notifications before screen sharing. RALMIX does not guarantee that every browser, headset, network or regional internet service supports every function.

Never disable security controls or install unknown software supplied by a purported Tutor merely to join. Contact support if an access request appears suspicious. Do not attempt to bypass regional service restrictions or Platform authorisation controls.

4. Camera, microphone and environment

You control whether your device transmits camera/microphone media through the available interface and browser permissions. Other participants can see or hear what is transmitted, including background people and objects. Use a suitable setting and clothing and avoid exposing addresses, documents, payment details or unrelated family conversations.

Screen sharing should be limited to relevant educational content. Do not show unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful or threatening material. A Tutor may discuss legitimate educational needs for participation, but must not coerce a child into an unsafe camera angle, private room inspection or unrelated physical act.

5. Recording, screenshots and transcription

The absence of a built-in record button is not permission to record through other software, a phone, a browser extension or an AI notetaker. Do not capture another participant's identifiable media, voice, messages or screen content without the consent, authority and lawful basis required for that purpose and jurisdiction. Where a minor is involved, the necessary adult authority and the child's applicable rights must be addressed.

Before any lawful capture, explain who records, why, what is captured, who can access it, how long it will remain, where it will be processed and how it can be challenged or deleted. Agreement to attend a Lesson, enable a microphone or accept general Terms is not recording consent. Permission to make a private educational copy does not permit publishing it or using it for advertising, biometric analysis or AI training.

Permission may need to be withdrawn for future capture. Do not secretly continue because a participant previously agreed. Any statutory exception concerning evidence or mandatory reporting must be assessed narrowly; this policy does not require a person to give up a right that cannot lawfully be restricted. It also does not authorise a private surveillance programme.

Group courses — Privacy, Recording, and Course Materials. If group sessions are recorded, participants must be informed in accordance with applicable privacy and consent requirements. Students must not publish recordings, screenshots, names, personal information, or images of other participants without authorization. Course materials, slides, worksheets, recordings, and other protected content are for authorized personal learning use and may not be resold, redistributed, or publicly uploaded without permission.

6. RALMIX access and support

Authorised personnel may review relevant Account, Lesson and support records when needed for a lawful support, security or complaint purpose. Reviewing a submitted report is not the same as silently entering a live Lesson. RALMIX does not promise continuous monitoring or the ability to retrieve a video recording that was never made.

Introducing live staff participation, recording, transcription or other media analysis requires a separate operational and legal decision with appropriate notice and controls. A support request alone is not blanket permission to monitor future Lessons.

7. Children and behaviour

Follow the Child Safety & Safeguarding Policy, Community Guidelines and Tutor Code of Conduct. No grooming, sexualised behaviour, harassment, threats or coercion is allowed.

A participant may leave an unsafe interaction and report it. A child should know how to contact a trusted adult. Do not demand that a child continue an inappropriate interaction to avoid a no-show accusation. Immediate danger should be reported to local emergency services; the Platform is not an emergency channel.

Group courses — Conduct and Classroom Standards. Students and instructors must communicate respectfully and must not engage in harassment, discrimination, threats, sexual misconduct, deliberate disruption, spam, or other abusive behavior. An instructor may remove a student from a live session when immediate removal is reasonably necessary to protect the group or preserve the class environment. The incident should then be reported to RALMIX. Removal for substantiated misconduct does not automatically entitle the student to a refund for that session. Repeated or serious violations may lead to suspension or account closure.

8. Interruptions and lesson disputes

Connection loss, latency, browser incompatibility, device failure and provider/network restrictions can interrupt a call. Try ordinary reconnection steps where safe and notify the other participant or support through available channels. Record the time and a concise description rather than capturing unnecessary private media.

The Refund Policy governs remedies for future paid Lessons. An outage does not automatically prove either party's fault or extinguish a remedy for non-delivery. Participation events help establish timing but are not a complete record of teaching quality or content.

9. International availability and data

Media may pass through provider infrastructure and to a participant in another country. The Privacy Policy addresses data and transfer issues. Neither LiveKit's availability nor publication of this policy establishes a telecom licence, regulator approval or lawful cross-border processing in every country.

RALMIX may need to limit a service where a legal or technical condition is not satisfied. That does not authorise retaining payment for an undelivered service without the applicable remedy. Report privacy/media concerns through https://ralmix.top/contact/ or support@ralmix.top.
