Child Safety & Safeguarding Policy

1. Scope and purpose

This policy applies to Tutors, Students, Parents / Guardians and other Users in Lessons, messages, video calls, profiles, uploaded materials and related interactions involving a minor. Its purpose is to set clear boundaries, enable reporting and support proportionate protective action. It supplements the Terms of Use, not local child-protection law or emergency services.

“Child” or “minor” refers to a person treated as a minor under applicable law. Contractual capacity, online privacy consent and safeguarding thresholds may differ. This policy does not invent a universal minimum enrolment age or certify an operational age-verification system.

2. Adult involvement and eligibility

A Parent / Guardian must arrange and supervise a minor's use where required by the applicable rules and law. The adult must have actual authority, not merely access to an email or invitation link. If required authority cannot be established, the affected use should not proceed until an appropriate lawful arrangement is in place.

Tutors must not help a child misstate age or bypass parental involvement. Unknown age status is not proof of adulthood. A declared guardian relationship, an email check, Tutor approval and an identity/background check are distinct facts; none may be presented as another.

3. Professional Tutor–child communication

Communication must serve the agreed educational purpose and remain age-appropriate. Tutors must maintain professional boundaries, avoid unnecessary personal questions and be transparent about relevant communications with an authorised adult where lawful and appropriate.

The following are prohibited:

• Sexual comments, sexualised images, requests to undress, sexual touching or sexual activity, and any exploitative material involving children.
• Grooming, romantic approaches, an inappropriate personal relationship, pressure for private images or secret contact.
• Threats, humiliation, harassment, discriminatory abuse, coercion or punishment intended to make a child comply with an improper request.
• Gifts, favouritism, emotional dependency or promises used to isolate the child or obtain secrecy, personal access or a benefit unrelated to education.
• Asking a child to hide communications, delete evidence, deceive a Parent / Guardian or move to disappearing/private channels to avoid oversight.

Consent from a child or an adult does not legitimise exploitation or conduct prohibited by law.

4. Off-platform contact and external tools

Do not divert Platform bookings or payments in breach of the Terms. An external resource needed for teaching is not automatically forbidden, but it must be legitimate, suitable for the child's age and explained to the authorised adult where required. Consider account creation, provider privacy terms and whether less intrusive resources are available.

Do not use an external tool to establish secret contact, bypass safeguarding restrictions or collect unnecessary personal information. A lawful existing relationship is not owned by RALMIX, but does not excuse misconduct connected with a Platform Lesson. Do not arrange an in-person meeting with a child through private teaching communications outside an appropriately authorised, lawful arrangement; RALMIX does not offer supervision of such meetings.

5. Personal and sensitive information

Tutors must not request a child's exact home address, identity documents, banking details, passwords, authentication codes or unrelated health/family information for ordinary teaching. If a legitimate safety or accommodation need arises, use support and a proportionate lawful process rather than collecting a dossier privately.

Do not publish a child's full identity, school, location, images, learning difficulties or private messages. Do not upload child data to an outside AI tool without the necessary lawful authority and safeguards. Even an adult's permission does not justify collecting more data than the purpose requires. 6. Lessons and surroundings

Tutors should use a professional setting, suitable clothing and age-appropriate materials. Students should be supported in finding a suitable environment with a responsible adult available as appropriate. No participant should show illegal or sexually explicit material or introduce an undisclosed bystander into a private interaction.

A child may turn off camera/microphone or leave if uncomfortable. Address an educational concern about participation with the authorised adult without coercion. A Tutor must not require an unsafe camera angle, private room inspection or unrelated physical act. Screen sharing should be limited to educational content.

The current classroom does not provide routine recording, transcription or hidden staff listening. Do not independently record or publish child media without the separate permissions and legal basis required by the Online Classroom & Video Call Policy. No continuous human monitoring is promised.

7. If a child discloses a concern

Listen calmly, take the child seriously and avoid blaming them. Do not promise absolute secrecy or a result you cannot guarantee. Do not repeatedly question the child, suggest answers, confront a suspected offender or organise a private investigation. Record only necessary factual details, distinguishing the child's words from your interpretation, and report through the appropriate channel.

If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency or child-protection services. A Platform support request is not a substitute. Anyone with a statutory reporting duty must comply with it; this policy does not waive that duty or require RALMIX permission before reporting to authorities.

8. Reporting to RALMIX

Use existing support/chat where available, https://ralmix.top/contact/ or support@ralmix.top. Identify the relevant Account, Lesson/message location, approximate date/time and the concern. Say if there is an ongoing risk or another authority has been contacted, where lawful. A reporter need not prove a criminal offence before asking for help.

Do not download, forward or circulate child sexual abuse material. Report its location and follow competent authority instructions for preservation. Do not ask a child to recreate an incident. Share evidence only to the extent lawful and necessary, protecting other children's identities.

RALMIX is not a 24-hour emergency service. If a channel is unavailable, use another published contact, and do not delay an urgent external report while waiting for a response.

9. Assessment and protective measures

RALMIX may preserve relevant evidence, limit contact, restrict a feature or profile, suspend access, remove content, terminate an Account or refer information to authorities where justified and lawful. An urgent temporary restriction may precede a final finding. It does not itself prove guilt, verified guardianship or that all historical allegations were checked.

Information should be shared on a need-to-know lawful basis. Absolute anonymity cannot be guaranteed, especially where disclosure is legally required, but unnecessary exposure or retaliation must be avoided. The child's safety and independent rights must be considered when deciding whether and how to notify an adult; automatic notification to an alleged source of harm can be inappropriate.

10. Review and continuing responsibilities

Complaints, Investigations & Appeals governs review of enforcement decisions. Review must not expose a child to renewed contact or disclose protected evidence unnecessarily. A Parent / Guardian or Tutor may provide relevant context, but cannot demand the identity of a confidential reporter or unrestricted access to another person's records.

Safeguarding is not guaranteed by a policy page, a profile badge or a general disclaimer. RALMIX retains its applicable duties; Tutors retain professional boundaries; authorised adults provide appropriate supervision. Updates must reflect actual capabilities and legal requirements, not promises of monitoring or verification that do not exist.
