AI Tutor Terms

1. Scope and availability

These Terms supplement the Terms of Use for AI-assisted educational tools actually made available on RALMIX. They do not promise that every advertised AI feature, model, language, voice function or assessment is operational. A feature may use an external text-generation provider or a local fallback; the interface should not misrepresent a fallback as a human Tutor.

AI is not a person, licensed professional, school official or emergency service. Availability of an AI page does not establish a paid subscription or authorise recurring billing.

2. Educational purpose and accuracy

AI may help explain a topic, suggest practice, draft a study plan or give feedback. Output is generated automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated or unsuitable for a particular learner. It may invent references, give inconsistent explanations or misunderstand the question even when it sounds confident.

Check important answers against reliable sources or a competent human, especially where an error would affect safety, legal rights, finances or an important assessment. Do not use AI output as medical, legal, financial, immigration or other regulated professional advice, an emergency response or a substitute for required professional supervision. RALMIX does not guarantee exam results or educational attainment from AI use.

3. Your inputs and permissions

Submit only material you have the right to provide and allow to be processed for the requested function. Do not enter passwords, payment credentials, confidential employer documents, unnecessary health information, another person's sensitive data or a child's private Lesson transcript without the required lawful authority. Deleting a name does not necessarily anonymise an identifiable story.

Use the minimum context needed. If an exercise can be answered without real names or personal circumstances, omit them. Do not upload protected textbooks, examination content or proprietary datasets without permission or a valid legal exception. An ordinary content licence is not a guarantee that external provider processing is permitted.

4. Provider and data handling

As of September 25, 2026, AI Tutor uses locally generated fallback responses. The deployed OpenAI API integration is not configured with an API credential and does not send AI Tutor inputs to OpenAI in this configuration. Fallback responses can be template-based and less responsive to your question than an external language model. They are not human-reviewed tutoring. RALMIX still processes your inputs, learning preferences and conversation records on its service.

An external provider will not be introduced solely by relying on this general framework: its identity, relevant inputs, purposes, retention and international-processing arrangements must be disclosed before activation, with any legally required permissions. A no-storage request parameter is not itself a promise of zero provider logs or retention. See the Privacy Policy for current processing, retention and rights.

Using AI Tutor does not authorise transmission of live Lesson media, unrelated support history or all Account records. Introducing a materially new input type, provider use or training purpose requires the appropriate review, disclosure and permission before the change. A general Terms update cannot substitute for that.

5. Prohibited uses

The Acceptable Use Policy applies. Do not use AI to facilitate exploitation, fraud, harassment, sexualised content involving minors, unlawful discrimination, credential theft, malware, impersonation or evasion of safety/access controls.

Do not submit generated work as your own where that violates an examination, institution or other applicable assessment rule. Permitted tutoring, explanations and practice are distinct from impersonation or contract cheating. Do not misrepresent generated material as reviewed by RALMIX staff or a qualified professional when it was not.

6. Output and intellectual property

You retain the rights you hold in your input. AI output may not be unique, accurate, protectable or free of third-party rights. These Terms do not grant rights RALMIX does not possess or guarantee that a particular output belongs exclusively to you. Before public or commercial reuse, consider copyright, confidentiality, likeness and other applicable rights.

Any RALMIX permission to display or technically process input/output is limited by the Terms and Privacy Policy. It is not an unrestricted licence to sell private Student content or publish a child's interaction. Notify RALMIX under the Copyright / DMCA Policy if identifiable output infringes a right you can substantiate.

7. Children and appropriate supervision

A minor's use must comply with the Parent / Guardian Agreement and Child Safety & Safeguarding Policy, including any applicable provider age restrictions and legally required adult authority. These Terms do not create a verified parental-consent mechanism.

An adult should help the child understand that AI can be wrong and that it should not receive private family information. AI is not a confidential friend, safeguarding officer or crisis counsellor. If an interaction becomes distressing or unsafe, stop and seek appropriate human help. Do not assume that all conversations are continuously reviewed by staff.

8. Limits, changes and reporting

Features may have technical or usage limits and may be interrupted or changed. Limits must be presented honestly; no unannounced paid charge arises from exceeding a free limit. RALMIX may restrict misuse or an unsafe function in accordance with the Terms. A general disclaimer does not excuse obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Report a harmful, inaccurate or privacy-sensitive response through existing support with the minimum necessary context and approximate time. Do not repeat harmful prompts or expose another person's data merely to demonstrate an error.
